This piece is a digital evolution of my previous work, "Canvas, My Rink." I've enhanced the viewer experience by adding sound to the skate blade's movement across the ice. While "Canvas, My Rink" celebrated the static beauty of the final image, this work delves into the dynamic process of creation itself. It vividly records the skate blade's path as it paints like a brushstroke, capturing the "time of movement" – the raw, fluid energy of the blade carving through the canvas. This video captures each heartfelt carve, each movement a brushstroke revealing hidden layers, glimpses into my mind that only the blade can uncover.
