This piece is a weathered window frame, a forgotten relic of Prague's past. I tried to capture this image through pencil strokes to express the aged wood and warm cream hues and evoke a sense of nostalgia. The foreground window is rendered with meticulous realism, contrasting with the lightly sketched distant landscape. A fragment of a photo print, added for the stone texture of the ground, introduces a vibrant element to the predominantly pencil-drawn work.
