Mountains of Vermilion

This painting was first inspired by a single photograph of a cliff by the sea. What first started off by a cliff bathed in the golden light of sunset, I transformed the land into a vibrant red. To capture the scene's raw energy, I fragmented the composition, allowing irregular shapes to merge into a unified whole. This approach, more effective than a single frame, allows the viewer to experience the dynamic energy of the original scene.
