Beyond the Routine

Inspired by a childhood memory of lacing up my skates, this artwork captures a special moment from my past. On an emerald, green background, I used bright pops of pink and purple to convey the unique feeling I felt back then as my mother tied my skate laces. By varying the painting's rhythm, I highlighted the relationship between my mom and myself, creating a visual representation of a cherished and memorable routine.
